The Respect for Marriage Act (RMA) passed both the US Senate and the House. Soon, no doubt, the President will sign it into law. What is the RMA? The RMA codifies the Supreme Court’s 2015 ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges and, in short, requires same-sex marriages to be legally recognized in every state.
