“Speaking the truth in love” (Eph. 4:15). That’s what we are called to do. But Christians are finding it more and more difficult to engage people in healthy and productive conversations. Sometimes, even in the church.
And our culture is growing increasingly hostile toward people of faith, especially Christians. But at the same time, the door is open now, more than ever, for Gospel conversations. Christians can learn to engage people respectfully, have fruitful conversations, and defend and advance a biblical worldview.
This conference is about having conversations, not arguments. It is a great addition to your teaching on evangelism and apologetics.
Attendees will:
- Learn why the culture has shifted and how postmodernism has impacted evangelism and apologetics;
- Learn how to ask engaging questions;
- Learn how to cultivate apologetic and evangelistic conversations;
- Gain confidence in answering critical questions about their faith and in defending the truth;
- Strengthen their understanding of the foundations of a biblical worldview;
- Biblical and Cultural Foundations
- Guiding Principles for Confident Conversations
- How to Engage in a Confident Conversation on Controversial Issues
- What we can learn from Paul about having confident conversations
- Bonus: Answering a Controversial Issue with Confidence
